Our Service Learning and Outdoor Adventure programs are based at Bajul Eco Lodge within West Bali National Park, also referred to as SERC: Scientific Education Research Centre, far away from the tourist zones and immersed in nature as well as the traditional Balinese culture and way of life.
You’ll be working alongside local community conservationist and educator Pak Nono, from the “Friends of Menjangan” local community initiative. You’ll learn the importance of reef and mangrove ecosystems and take part in activities to help preserve these. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the forest ecosystem and assist the local community in clearing invasive species. You’ll also be challenging yourself through a forest hiking adventure and snorkeling while reef monitoring.
Service and Outdoor Learning Programs are combined with our Medewi Surf Camp Program only 1 hour away. At both camps we combine technology with service by using the “Clean Swell App” in our efforts help address plastic pollution.
