International Schools Outdoor Education

Combine your Surf and Service learning experience with our Outdoor educators in North east Bali where students take part in mountain biking, rafting, “subak” hikes and become fully emerged in Balinese culture, including local cooking classes. Based at Green Camp or at Bali Kuno your school will have the opportunity to take part in the following activities:

Lifesaving courses

Students will undertake the “Surf Survival” course run in conjunction with Lifesaving Australia and Baliwisata, Bali’s very own lifeguard service based in Kuta beach.

The following will be covered:


Experienced and certified guides in conjunction the Green Camp instructors will lead this exciting river expedition. All equipment provided!

Hiking and Mountain biking

School groups get to take part in guided hikes up Mount Batur and/or Agung as well as guided mountain bike trails. These include temple visits and lunch with local Balinese.

Coconut Tree Climbing and Abseiling

Proficiencies and skills taught are based on outdoor recreation at TAFE Australia.

Our partner Yeshi Eperjesi, Outdoor Ed specialist, former Green School teacher and Green Camp instructor, together with his experienced and qualified local team, oversee these camps.
